Disney College Program Bucket List

Tuesday, March 28, 2017

I found out a little less than a month ago that I was accepted into the Disney College Program for the fall 2017 season! On August 14, I'll be moving to my favorite place: Walt Disney World! This is so exciting for me, and I can't believe it's actually happening. As I'm sure you can tell from my previous blog posts, I definitely have a love for Disney. I gain so much style and beauty inspiration from the characters and movies, it just felt like the right choice to participate in the program.

While I'm in Disney, I'll be working as a merchandise cast member. I'll be assigned to a store at one of the four parks, or Disney Springs to work at. I've never been so excited to start a job, and I can't wait to begin making Magical Moments for guests!

While I'm not working, I definitely want to explore the parks, and Orlando as much as I can. I've seen this tag done quite a bit on YouTube, so to get to the point, I'm going to be sharing my DCP bucket list of all the activities I hope to do while I'm in Florida!

40. Go the taping of the Christmas parade

There are a ton of things I want to do while I'm in Orlando. I'll definitely keep my blog updated on my adventures around Disney and Florida. I can't wait to incorporate more Disney themed posts; some style and beauty, others not. I think it's going to be such an amazing experience meeting so many new people, and making friendships I'll never forget. I cannot wait for this journey to begin. As Walt Disney said, "All our dreams can come true, if you have the courage to pursue them."

New Dresses Are Made For Exploring the City

Tuesday, March 7, 2017

A couple weeks ago, back when it was 70 degrees and not an ice box outside, I explored the Brooklyn Bridge Park! Hey, what better way to do that than in a new dress? I've been wanting to share this look for a while, and finally found time to share.

I recently bought this dress from Macy's. It's a simple, light pink lace dress, but I love it! I actually don't have a dress this color. I know, surprising, right? It fits extremely well, and I can't wait to style it for spring and summer.

If it wasn't obvious already, my style is very romantic, with a few classic pieces thrown in. I think this dress would look great with a pearl necklace and sandals for the summertime. This will definitely be a dress that pops up a lot on my blog these next few months.

My goal for this look was to make my dress the  main focal point. I kept the rest of my outfit simple with black tights and ballet flats. For my purse, I stuck with my favorite one, the light pink Cedar Street Maise handbag from Kate Spade. This purse is honestly the perfect size. I can easily fit all of my necessities, which is definitely a must when exploring the city. For jewelry, you can tell I kept it minimal. I wore my light pink rose bud stud earrings, which complimented the entire outfit nicely.

Below are a few more pictures I took while I was exploring the area. Oh, and that ice cream cone at the bottom, definitely worth the half hour wait.
